12 midnite..

the number 4

Its Al’s birthday tomorrow.  He will be hitting the number 4 in less than two hours time.  I had made some plans for him but not sure whether he will like them.  Anyway, I will be on leave tomorrow to celebrate his birthday.  First we will be going to Royal China at Raffles Hotel for lunch.  Then off to Browhaus for his first professional browgraphy (that’s what they call it on the menu).  

I was contemplating to get him a racket and an iphone cover previously but decided on nothing in the end.  Luckily I already gave him some presents beforehand (bought him something last month cos I thought I will be busy working every night from October till end November).

Now, one more hour to go before we blow the big 4 candles.

10 more days before Al’s brithday.  I have given him a few prelude presents already.  But I want to give him another surprise present.  Some of the things I bought him over the years are:-

(1) LV wallet

(2) iphone

(3) Sunglass

(4) T-shirts

(5) Watch

(6) Perfume

I am running out of ideas. Can you help me think of something?

A sunday..

Al satisfied my watch fantasies by bring me out watch shopping again.  But before that, we had egg ben at Coffee Bean.  It was really yummy and I almost wanted to lick the plate clean (luckily Al managed to stop me in time). 

After our brunch, we side tracked to a few shopping place like Wheelock Place, Wisma Atria, ION before our watch shopping.  Al was happy when he saw a North Face at ION, he was kinda bored after the 1/2 hour search of Fred Perry.  In the end, we bought 2 pairs of shorts and 2 pairs of socks at a good price and still no watch.

Mr Lee is enjoying the shopping huh...

Thursday..

Met up with Mr Woo for dinner together with Niu Niu.  He  is still so full of crap but we had a good time. The 3 of us combine equals to fun and of cos crap.  We went to Peperoni Pizza at Greenwood Ave for pizza, cabonara and aglio olio spaghetti, chicken wing, creme brulee which are really nice.  I think all of you guys should try this place if you like italian food.  Overall rating : 9.8/10.   Apologies for not taking any pictures cos I was so busy enjoying the food.  

I went home to Mr Al who is feeling real down and wanted to go for a jog.  I decided to join him so that I can keep him company and of cos ride my little Zucca.  And I rode while he ran to Mt Sinai for a Haato.  Yes, its a contented day spend with loves ones.

Monday Blues?

Came to work today feeling slightly blue.  One thing for sure, my little brother Alex is no longer around.  And I got tons of work waiting for me to clear which I managed to clear most by the end of the day.  Phew!  Went home around 9 plus and found out that Al has came home earlier than he should be.  He has forgotten his notes and told me that today’s lesson was not that important.  

I came upon a website and fell in love with it.  Its about fashion, friends, life, beautiful things.  At least my monday ended well after reading this lovely blog. Source: Wikstenmade

little gestures of love

I was in the mood again.  Managed to piss Al at Vivo and in less than 10 minutes, we were out of the place.  Reached home and he went to the market while I went home.  I heard my phone notification and there were 2 messages from  Al.  First message : Asked if I want food from the market at 6.03pm.  Second message:  waiting for my reply at 6.10pm.  My reply after 5 minutes : anything is fine.  He came home with fish soup porridge (something suitable for my present health condition).  And without saying anything, Al laid my dinner on the table. 

After dinner, I went back to bed and fell asleep.  I heard Al came into the room and on the fan to its highest level and close the door behind him. 

I felt love with these little gestures..

Miss me?

This week has been a long one. At least 4 very late nights. Luckily, I have a loving husband who picked me up after work so that I can have an earlier rest.

Today was a sad day for some of us. Its Alex’s last day at work. He has decided to quit to return to his family in KL. As a tradition, the department will get something for staff who resigned. So I volunteered to get him something. It was a blue crumpler laptop bag which Al has kindly buy on my behalf since I was so busy at work this week. And I am glad he likes it.

Sick

This is my first high fever for the year. I was having a slight sore throat on Friday and it grew worse over the weekend. I felt so uncomfortable yesterday while we were having dinner with our friends at Seafood Paradise. The restaurant temperature was too low for most of us to take, especially me (low tolerance for cold). After dinner, we proceeded to Lily’s place for mahjong and cake cutting.

Finally, with my face red and achy body, I finally surrendered my (mahjong) seat to Brother Zull and have to say bye bye to all. This morning, Alvin decided to put ice pack on my forehead and the temperature dropped from 37.7 to 36.9. I felt so much better now with the TLC.

Hope the fever will go away as I have deadlines due this week.

Done deals!

I finally managed to sell my mountain bike after 6 months(?) with Al’s help. He has been most helpful, taking pictures of my bike, posting them online and attending to so many enquiries from these potential online buyers. For that, I will let him ride on my new bicycle  which I would be getting tomorrow! YooHoo!!
