Met up with Mr Woo for dinner together with Niu Niu.  He  is still so full of crap but we had a good time. The 3 of us combine equals to fun and of cos crap.  We went to Peperoni Pizza at Greenwood Ave for pizza, cabonara and aglio olio spaghetti, chicken wing, creme brulee which are really nice.  I think all of you guys should try this place if you like italian food.  Overall rating : 9.8/10.   Apologies for not taking any pictures cos I was so busy enjoying the food.

I went home to Mr Al who is feeling real down and wanted to go for a jog.  I decided to join him so that I can keep him company and of cos ride my little Zucca.  And I rode while he ran to Mt Sinai for a Haato.  Yes, its a contented day spend with loves ones.

Miss me?

August 22, 2009 · Leave a Comment

This week has been a long one. At least 4 very late nights. Luckily, I have a loving husband who picked me up after work so that I can have an earlier rest.

Today was a sad day for some of us. Its Alex’s last day at work. He has decided to quit to return to his family in KL. As a tradition, the department will get something for staff who resigned. So I volunteered to get him something. It was a blue crumpler laptop bag which Al has kindly buy on my behalf since I was so busy at work this week. And I am glad he likes it.

My new friend

June 12, 2009 · 2 Comments

Recently, I found a new friend. His name is Alex. He is from Malaysia. Things I like about him:-

He thinks that I am 28;

He calls me “Tax God”;

His jokes are sarcastic but funny;

He calles me “Ke Ro” when he sees me every morning;

He kept me company when he already went for his medical checkup;

He laughs when I crack a joke;

He is like a little brother to me.

Malacca Trip

May 8, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I was going through (again) some of the photos taken by Aw during our Malacca Trip last November. Almost everyone (except Jessie and Ah San) made it for the trip. The main purpose was to tailor made Kebayas for our dear Wei and Zull’s wedding. But it was such fun with all the great food and great company.

Click here for more photos.

Wonder when will be our next Malacca Trip.

Impending trip

April 9, 2009 · 4 Comments

Dear friends, thank you for helping me with my Japan trip.

Especially, Xiuhui, for letting me know about the ‘cheap’ ticket, feeding me with information of Japan, Sakura la, weather la, directions la.  Sock Ling, for asking her Japanese colleague to help in booking our onsen.  Ade, for the list of shoes that she wants me to bring back (no la, just kidding), for listing down the places that we should go to in Tokyo and recommending us the hotel she usually stay in.

Thank you once again.  I will definitely have fun in Japan. Looking forward to the sashimi, onsen, ramen, culture, fashion, Tokyo Tower.  Yeah! Maybe I should try some puffer fish….. hmmmm….

Project Friday II

February 21, 2009 · Leave a Comment

There were 7 of us. Nana and Niu Niu’s appointment is at Pacific Plaza. So we decided on Lido to watch Slumdog Millionaire. We bought the tickets for 5 (got 2 for free as ABN Amro bank got special promotion) for the show at 1630.

Slumdog Millionaire, the only thing I know about this show is that it has won some awards and the actors are all INDIANS and its a comedy. Well, at the start of the show, Niu Niu is already making a lot of ‘eeeees’, ‘aiyehs’, ‘aiyos’ etc etc noises beside me. At 1/4 of the show, she said she cannot take it and walked out. So only the 6 of us continued with it. Basically, Niu Niu dislikes show with any cruelty content, which I think most of us have seen worst compared to Slumdog Millionaire. Haha.. Anyway, I do not wish to go into details to the show. The main attention is on Niu Niu.

Show ended at 183o. We found Niu Niu sitting outside along the cinema reading 8 days (magazine). Then she started asking us how was the show? the ending? Nana seems to be the only one giving her the details. So she targeted at her. When we were about to go our own way, she started crying (at the entrance of Lido) thinking of those poor kids living in the slum. Hahhahha, I finally found a match to the throne of being a cry baby.

Silly Michelle.

And Teng, by the way, its not Scumdog Millionaire, its Slumdog Millionaire :)

Project Friday

February 19, 2009 · Leave a Comment

During the new year dinner for the whole tax department, Debbie and Teng both won the fastest beer drinker under the ladies and men categories respectively. Being trained frequently  at birthday celebrations and ‘meet up with Mr Poon’ sessions have done them good. The winner each get a $50 Crystal jade voucher. So the 2 winners both from our table won $100 worth of Crystal jade vouchers.

So we decided to have a “Project Friday”.

We will take half day to celebrate for the 2 winners :) Of cos, Ms Gan is invited and is more than willing to say yes.

Our project itenary would be as follows:-

(1) Set off to Takashimaya for the expensive lunch;

(2) Catch “Slumdog Millionaire” at Cineleisure, 4pm;

(3) Rest and relax for the rest whilst Nana and Niu Niu go for their hair cuts.

TGIF!!

This week

December 22, 2008 · Leave a Comment

This week is a short working week for me. It will be 2½ working days; being ½ day on Wednesday, Public Holiday on Thursday and took leave on Friday. I always love December, more so this year as it was off peak at work; many went on leave; birthdays; wedding celebrations.

Every year, since 3 years ago if I remembered correctly, each of us (Wet Wet, Chan Chan, Ah Boy and myself) will have a choice of what we want on our birthday plus a dinner treat!. I remembered the present I chose 2 years ago was a Coach bag which I am still using now. Last year was a digital camera, Panasonic Lumix. And this year, I was not able to make up my mind as I was choosing between 2 items that I like very much; a pair of shoe and an iphone. So I consulted a few friends; Sock Ling who advised me to get the iphone and the shoe. Haha, that was a good one; Alvin and Wet Wet thought that the iphone is better choice; Chan Chan said its up to me. Guess which one I chose in the end?
