Bad day??

I had a prior appointment at 10 this morning for a long overdue massage. I booked 2 sessions of body massage and lymphatic body massage (one session each) since it was 2 months ago and I wanted badly to utilise the package signed up (think it will take me at least 2 years to finish the package if I go without fail once every week). Libo never fails to make my body aches after massage. And she will always preached that one should not shower after massage; must drink plenty of water before and after massage; should not eat immediately before or after massage. I will nod and nod when the preaching starts; as long as she don’t try to sell me more package; I don’t mind listening.

Went home.

Received an sms from a mahjong kaki and we realised now that there is one extra kaki. Need 2 tables. kaki jokingly said “then u don’t play” (which i don’t find it funny) if there is no kaki” I think I am one of the best kaki one would ever wish for. Anytime anywhere anyone I am with no complains as long as there is mahjong. I seldom throw tantrums when I am losing. I never bragged when I am winning. I am often quiet when I play. But some people just take it for granted. Anyway, another mahjong kaki whom I totally adore just msn me and told me that she can play; so we can have 2 tables!  Yeah!

The game

I have been playing  Mahjong since 2005 and keeping tabs on how much my winnings/loss for these few years.  Last year, I bought a new mahjong set, a case and also a set of casino chips which cost me about $180?? with the net winnings from the past 4 years.

1st day of 2009

Yesterday, I played mahjong and was the sole loser. Today, I played mahjong and was the sole winner.

My goodness, my life is filled with the joys and sorrows of mahjong.

Of cos, I wish for more joys than sorrows for the many years to come; in whatever way.

Christmas Day

We were at Lily’s place yesterday at 7pm. Nowadays, if we go to her place at the peak hours, we will have to spend some time to find a parking lot. The carpark is often full and the nearest place is a 10-15 minutes walk out to the HDB parking. Lily said that the carpark lots are already not enough for the residents. Some residents even own more than 1 car (they are one of the culprits). So yesterday being Christmas eve makes it even tougher to find a parking lot. Alvin waited for half an hour and in the end he has to park at the HDB carpark. Luckily, Fooster was there to share the same misfortune. Else he will C and S. Hahah.

We celebrated Christmas by having packet chicken/duck/char siew rice, 3 rounds of Mahjong, eating donuts, logcake and drinking sparkling wine, wooing and wowing at Wei’s party dress (6 ways of wearing it and how much the dress costs), watched the video of Wei and Zull’s wedding which draw a lots of laughters. The party finally ended at 4am and we managed to find our way to bed at 5am.
