It was announced recently at our annual D&D that the firm will, in appreciation of our contributions in 2009, be giving out reward package to all permanent full-time employees and contract staff who are on the firm’s payroll as at 5 December 2009.  With this, I have received $800 worth of vouchers which consists of $150 jetstar, $150 capital land and $500 millenium and corpthorne vouchers. 

The company also created a virtual market place after receiving our feedback that some of us may want to exchange the rewards amongst ourselves.  And I was able to exchange my $150 jetstar voucher with $100 capital land voucher within 1 day. 

It was a nice early christmas present for some of us who are easily satisfied.

I saved this for a few days and devoured it within minutes...

I have applied leave for about 10 days.  During this period, I would be spending some time working at home, preparing for my Bangkok trip (see photo) with Al, cruise with mother-in-law and also partying!

Opps, not forgetting my running too in between those partying and holidaying!

Today is Bigzull and Wei’s first year wedding anniversary.  Guess what?  They are throwing a party at Zouk to share their happiness with their friends (yes, that include Al and me).  I seldom go party but for such lovely occassion, I am happy to be part of it.   Close to 12 midnight yesterday, Bigzull surprised Wei by giving her a  gift (orange color strap) she dearly wanted   And then there were hugs and kisses between them.

Al has a neighbor at Chip Bee Garden. He told me two weeks ago that there was an accident where their son’s girlfriend fell through the roof over the car porch and was badly hurt. She smashed both heel bones, injured her spinal and left arm. Apparently she was on the roof trying to sweep the dried leaves and the roof couldn’t take her weight.. Worse thing is there is no case against JTC and they even have to pay for the roof repair.

We all learnt from experience but it doesn’t take an experience to tell you that such kind of roof top can’t take a normal human being’s weight.

30 Nov (for now) is the ultimatum of the tax industry.  All (maybe not all but for most) the tax professionals have worked very hard for the past 11 months in order to meet this deadline and deserve the break in December (well, provided that there is no deadline in December). So after 30 Nov, its FUN time for most of us. 

P.S. For sure, my kids (if any) would NEVER be in this industry.  Anything but my line.

I have not had the chance to jog since monday, so I planned to do so early this morning.  Was it the long break since monday or was it the sun or was it that thick phlegm that I accidently touched with 4 fingers of mine when I put my hand on the railings to warm up (who the hell is this bloody person who did that?? Luckily it was not yellow in color else I would have abandoned my run. YUCKS!!!!) or was it just me that could not made my usual 4.4km today??

What a start of the day!

Recently, I bought a marc jacobs sunnies and got bored with my guess.  So I decided to give it to my little sista.  She was going to BKK  (the same day as me) and wanted a pair of sunglass (but refuses to spend any money on one). 

When she puts it on, she was a happy gal. Fits her perfectly

Its work work and more work today.  My usual mj session did not happen tonight so I need something to sweeten my saturday which is ending soon.
